SCREEN PRINTING AND INKS

Lithopone

Lithopone is an extremely fine white pigment produced by mixing barium sulfate (70%) and zinc sulfide (30%).

Sodium Metaperiodate

It is an inorganic salt, composed of a sodium cation and the periodate anion. It can also be considered the sodium salt of periodic acid. It has the formula NaIO4 and is a useful oxidizing agent.

Polyvinyl chloride = PVC

PVC contains, by weight, 57% chlorine (derived from sodium chloride - table salt) and 43% ethene (derived from petroleum). Like all plastics , vinyl is made from repeated polymerization processes that convert hydrocarbons , contained in materials such as petroleum , into a single compound called a polymer . Vinyl is basically formed from ethylene and chlorine.

Hydrophobic Pyrogenic Silica HB-151

Recommended for adjusting fluidity and moisture resistance in screen printing inks, it contributes to greater formulation stability and improved print fixation performance.

Hydrophilic Pyrogenic Silica HL-200

Used as a reinforcing and rheological control agent, it improves the viscosity of inks, promoting application homogeneity and line definition during the printing process.
